Hieroglyphic writing is perhaps the oldest in the world and still survive the test of time. For several centuries it was impossible for translation and decryption so beautiful symbols called by the ancients as "The Words of God" and regarded by foreigners as "Holy Scripture" because, even being invaded Egypt by the Greeks and Romans, they took the Egyptian writing and language.

The hieroglyphic writing is the most perfect system ever able to create, in the same symbol have the sound, the graphic representation and meaning that never lacks the poetic sense. At first glance it seems complicated, but then our internal Egyptian Neter medu awake to hear the words of God and understand these symbols as if they were part of our own spirit, they are part of nature and part of everything that is manifested in its various forms to us.

What follows are some of them into an alphabet ...

What are you looking, not beautiful?

Hieroglyphic writing has three "ways of expression"

  • Figurative when the symbol is merely saying that it represents. An example would be our point alt , Leg, only limited to interpreting the symbol as a leg.

  • It's symbol when the or symbols are not limited to be figured but trying to express something else. An example is alt = Duck and alt = Sun. alt = Son of Sun

  • Phonics is when the sound of a symbol is combined with another to form a new word. One more example: since = Sun + Soldier.

Something we should not miss its influence on the development of this civilization are the pharaohs and their names, indeed, have been too modified its structure and original meaning. For example, Khufu (or Queope), builder of the Great Pyramid. Surely this is one of the biggest names in the world but few know Khufu (if we translate hieroglyphics hieroglyphics by the real name of "Cheops" is Khufu). So why not call it Khufu as indeed it deserves?. Egyptian names have special significance. Should we call the great Khufu, Cheops, is sure to bother much with us, then, in Egyptian Khufu means that he [God] protect me while Cheops does not mean anything, the word does not exist at this writing. We would, in his opinion, deprived of the protection of God. Therefore, all real names contained on my pages will be faithful to the script at hand.

... So, here we go with some Pharaonic names ...

These names I have translated from the Egyptian as closely as possible to avoid losing the sense that they gave. ! What names!, If they were our way.

Hieroglyphic writing is somewhat complex but not too much, you just have to get used to and I know that many would be willing, it is effort.

Ideally, we returned to using this script, save her completely and be part of this history of more than 5,000 years.
